PLACES WE'VE BEEN...
Growing up in California gave Leslie access to the ocean, mountains and open spaces. Raised by parents who espoused the celebration of life, “carpe diem," she’s been driven to create art as a chronical of her journey. A BFA from California College of the Arts and post graduate studies, plus insatiable curiosity, led Leslie to capture her surroundings in a variety of mediums. From drawing to painting, and fabricating wearable art, she loves being an artist, as well as nurturing the artist in others of all ages, as an instructor. Her email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Meredith lives in the San Fernando Valley. An art lover and great admirer of the Impressionists, she took up painting seriously during COVID as a way to relax and unwind. An avid photographer, she uses her photography as inspiration for her paintings. Self-taught, with a few formal lessons and many online videos, Meredith has utilized multiple mediums; primarily pastels, oil and watercolor. She recently joined SoCal Plein Air, continues to be motivated by artists in her art community as well as inspiration of So Cal's beauty.
